Quantity Field -- Quantity Reached Option Disappears

I am using a checkbox field type. I'm using quantitiy values. When a quantity is reached, the checkbox item disappears, so it can't be selected. 

Is there a way show the item that has zero quantity, but not allow selection and indicate "full" or "not available"?

Sorry but this is not possible. Remove the items when the quantity is full is how it works at the moment and it's hard to change it's behavior (quantity field feature is quite complicated and I don't want to change it's behavior at the moment)
