Custom Field Fee Formula to Discount 100%

We have a custom field check box that asks if they are dining for a seminar.  The seminar is free but majority are eating.  The custom field says, attending only the seminar.  We have several events that have this custom field and the seminar event prices vary.  Is there way if the box is checked, to waive the total fee, no matter what the fee is?  

Is there a formula that takes the total amount at the bottom and x -100% or something.  

Any ideas?

In the fee values setting of the field, please try to set fee value for the option to -[SUB_TOTAL] . Then check to see if it works ?

I tried adding -[SUB_TOTAL] to the FEE VALUES field and when i tested it, and checked the box for the custom field, it said Website Error.
