Translate countries was created by Pascal
Hi there
I am using Event Booking since quite a long time. But one thing I have never fixed, the Translation of the Countries for the Registration.
Is there a good way to translate them all?
Or did even someone already translated them to German?
Thank you
Pascal

Hi Pascal
Unfortunately, the system does not support translating countries yet. If it is not a multilingual website, you can go to edit these countries, change name directly from there
Regards,
Tuan

Hi Tuan
Thank you for your answer. I saw, that I can translate these there, for a single language website. But to be honest I did not want to translate 190 Countries by hand. Since I think there are lists existing, which have already the countries translated to many languages.
Like this one as Example: www.beresfordresearch.com/250-country-names-in-local-languages/
So I would really look forward to see a solution for this. I see little sense, that we can translate everything else beside the country.
Thank you
Pascal

Ah sorry, is there an easy solution to batch change them. Like download and upload a list? Or to update them within the DB?
But they should not get overridden with the next update.

Hello
The countries are stored in #__eb_countries table, so if you can update data from that table directly, it will be OK and won't be changed back next time you update the extension
Regards,
Tuan
