EB PayPal Standard Checkout Payment Plugin

Usually, it causes by something special on the site (javascript conflict somehow). So for this, we will have to check it directly on your site. Please submit a support ticket sending us super admin account of your site and link to the page which I can perform registration and see this error. We will check to see why the issue happens and get it sorted

As of 8-28-23, getting a deprecated error for PayPal Standard Payment paid plugin:
Deprecated: str_replace(): Passing null to parameter #2 ($replace) of type array|string is deprecated in /***/components/com_eventbooking/payments/os_paypalstc.php on line 159

I don't know where that null value comes from. However, I updated code of the payment plugin to prevent the warnings

Please download the payment plugin from My Downloads menu item on our website, upgrade it to your site. Then the issue will be gone

I installed paypal v4.5.0 in EB. (using Joomla 4 and EB 4.x)
When i checkout there is a popup box about:blank#blocked which hides the paypal login box (this is behind it)
Using Chrome   
My site has a valid Letsencrypt SSL Cert  
 

Are you using Joomla 4? If so, it could cause by System - HTTP Headers plugin.

So please find that plugin, click on it to edit, change Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy to same-origin-allow-popups should address the issue

Hi Tuan,
we give a try to EB Paypal Standard Checkout Payment Plugin on our website.
The payment is ok, but we need to be able to compare Paypal informations and EB informations for the payment, and for that we use the transaction ID.
Unfortunately, it seems it is not the same in Paypal backend and in EB backend.
Is it normal ? Could we get the same transaction ID in Paypal and in EB?

I will have to check to see if we can get the PayPal Transaction ID and update it for the registration record. Will see if PayPal Standard Checkout allows us to get that data
